Date: Dec. 9, 2008 The Buzz on Bank Street was a great choice for our Christmas wine club - we had good food, good service and best of all, could bring our own wine! Wines tasted: 1) Casillero des Diablo - Carmenère , Chile 2007 - Very good, would buy again – tasted cinnamon, chocolate, berry 2) Vineland Estates Winery - Merlot , VQA Niagara 2006 - Sweet, light and tasty 3) Wolf Blass Gold Label – Chardonnay , Australia (Vintages) - Good even if you don’t generally like Chardonnay! 4) Chateau de L’Estang – Bordeaux , Cotes de Castillon France 2004 (Vintages) 5) Inniskillin – Riesling , Late Harvest - Sweet, tasted apple/pear, good for dessert
