Served: Organic beef/pork burgers (sliders) and chicken breast burgers Attendance: Andrea (birthday girl), Shereen, Julie, Jacquie, Reem, Tayisa, Anna Wines: Vintages Welcome beverage: traditional Sangria – red wine (Spanish red "Canditato", LCBO), cognac (Greek "Metaxa"), and triple sec. BURGER TOPPINGS and WINE PAIRINGS Grilled pineapple, sweet basil and sweet mustard - Estancia 2008 Pinnacles Ranches Chardonnay (California) ($19.95 - #0075614) - Brilliant straw-yellow colour leads to fine tropical fruit, toast and pear aromas.
