We spent a lovely evening together, as usual, enjoying good food, and celebrating happy moments!  Happy birthday Tayisa and congrats to Carm! The theme was a Mexican fiesta with nachos, shredded beef tacos, chopped Mexican salad, and tasty paletas (popsicles) for dessert! Wines tasted: 1) Casillero des Diablo - Carmenère , Chile 2007 - Very good, would buy again – tasted cinnamon, chocolate, berry 2) Vineland Estates Winery - Merlot , VQA Niagara 2006 - Sweet, light and tasty 3) Wolf Blass Gold Label – Chardonnay , Australia (Vintages) - Good even if you don’t generally like Chardonnay! 4) Chateau de L’Estang – Bordeaux , Cotes de Castillon France 2004 (Vintages) 5) Inniskillin – Riesling , Late Harvest - Sweet, tasted apple/pear, good for dessert
